Midway Cafe Lunch Menu

LUNCH PROCEDURE 2006 - 2007

PLEASE WRITE YOUR CHILD'S NAME ON THEIR LUNCHBOX WITH A PERMANENT MARKER.

*** Lunch order forms will be sent home MONTHLY.

The menu will also be posted on the website at www.midwayschool.org

*** Orders may be placed weekly or monthly (NOT DAILY), however, MONTHLY IS PREFERRED.

** Payment MUST accompany the lunch order.

*** You may send ONE check for ALL family members (send it with the oldest or most reliable child).

However, you MUST send an order form or note to EACH CHILD'S TEACHER.

Each teacher has to mark lunches ordered for his/her class on their classroom order form..

The orders are then sent to the office to be verified and matched up to the family check.

NEW FOR 2006-2007 SCHOOL YEAR

Orders are due on MONDAY one week PRIOR to the week or month ordering.

The lunch menu and order forms will have a DUE DATE on the form.

Orders are due early to allow adequate time to verify payment,

process and order the appropriate amount of food.

Parents may not take lunch boxes to the classroom. They must be left with the receptionist, CLEARLY

MARKED WITH CHILD'S NAME (if not marked we cannot guarantee your child will receive the lunch).

CHARGES


*** Parents WILL NOT be called if a lunch is lost or forgotten.

*** The teacher or the office must be notified by 9:00 a.m. that a student needs to charge

the hot lunch being offered that day.

*** If the teacher or office IS NOT NOTIFIED by 9:00 a.m., the student may charge a PBJ Sandwich,

chips and beverage (those with peanut allergies will be given an alternate entrée).

*** A charged lunch should be paid for the next day. No charges allowed on ala carte items

or extra entrees

CREDITS


*** Credit will be given for a pre-paid lunch if a student is ABSENT only.

(No credits given if student leaves early or decides to bring lunch (unless the office is notified by 9:00 a.m.).

*** Credit may not be used to buy extra entrees or ala carte items.

*** Credit slips will be attached to the next month's menu and must be returned with the order form

for the next month's menu.

BIRTHDAYS

Birthdays may not be celebrated in the lunchroom.

OTHER INFORMATION

*** If you are planning to bring your child's lunch, please BE ON TIME for his/her lunch period.

11:00 - 11:30 | K5 - 2nd grade

11:30 - 12:00 | 3rd - 4th grade

12:00 - 12:30 | 5th - 6th grade

12:40 - 1:10 | 7th - 8th grade

*** Students bringing their lunch from home should bring all necessary items needed to eat that

lunch (napkin, utensils, beverage, etc.)

*** We DO NOT heat or refrigerate lunches.

*** Please do not send Gogurt, carbonated beverages, red beverages or grapes.

(Gogurt, red beverages and grapes are not allowed due to the mess they leave behind.)

*** Snack items and beverages will be available for purchase at .50 cents per item.

*** Ice Cream Novelties and Lemonade Zappers are available for $1.00 per item.

*** Please do not include snack money with lunch order. Snacks must be paid for at time of purchase.

*** Please do not send bills larger than $5 to purchase snacks (we do not always have change on hand).

Due to pending construction, the lunchroom will be located in

the new fellowship hall of the church. THE FLOOR IS CARPETED.

Please stress to your child the importance of eating

and disposing of their lunch properly.

Other food items may be restricted if students do not take care

in keeping their area clean.
