Special Programs
Music Program
Grades K-4 through 8th grade participate in weekly music classes. Students also have the option of taking weekly private or semi-private piano lessons on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday during the P.E. hour. Midway's music teacher provides these lessons at a monthly cost of $50 for private and $30 for semi-private.
Band Program
The band program is available to students in grades 4th through 8th. Our Band is under the direction of Mr. David Koehler. Mr. Koehler was a band director for 17 years in Kokomo, Indiana, and for 20 years in Ft. Myers, Florida, before coming to MCCS.
Beta Club
Beta Club is available to MCCS students.
Zion Chorus
Zion Chorus allows the students to perform choral music and to experience ensemble singing with unison or two-part harmony. Students also gain a more in depth knowledge of vocal production and singing in different languages.
